I had a fantastic time at Dreamboat! The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding towns. The hostel and rooms were clean and spacious, with plenty of hot water and good WiFi. What really set this place apart was the incredible staff, especially Luke. They made me feel like part of a family and organized fun social events every evening. It was a great way to meet other guests. Lonely Planet was right to recommend this place, I would definitely stay again!
I do recommend this hotel.

The hostel is located on the main street and is only a short walk away from both boat launches. You can easily explore the town and enjoy the convenience of the central location. The staff are friendly and engaging, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The beds are clean and comfortable, and lockers are provided for your belongings. Additionally, the hostel offers delicious dinners each night, adding to the overall positive experience.
The walls are thin, allowing noise from guests coming and going, as well as conversations in the hallway, to be easily heard.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Panajachel. The location is great, right on the main road, yet the rooms are set back, making it surprisingly quiet. The cleanliness throughout the hostel is impeccable, and it's understandable as the hostel is only 3 months old with everything in perfect working order. Safety was not a concern with lockers in the rooms and a locked front door. The staff are lovely and made us feel welcome, and we enjoyed the communal dinner and fun games. The owners and staff went above and beyond to ensure our basic necessities were provided for and made us feel like part of the group. this hostel offers a vibrant atmosphere and lots of group activities to make new friends and create amazing memories.
Nothing bad to say.
